I woke up feeling hot.
Very hot.
Okay, missy. I’m just gonna stop complaining. It’s been in the high 80’s here (and so humid you can’t see the flag pole across the street), but THAT is HOT! Go stand in front of the fridge but don’t let the kids catch you.
We’re in the long haul now. I closed my eyes the other day and tried to imagine a bright, crisp and cool autumn day. Football on the tv, and hours of outdoor play. It’s coming…..
My dad invited the family to come sit or swim around or in the pool at their hotel. They had a jacuzzi and everything. Needless to say, I couldn’t resist. Neither could my step-daughter or my granddaughter. So, I’m fine hanging out in the jacuzzi until my granndaughter said “PopPop come swim!”. So I jumped into the deep end of the pool to acclimatize quickly to the cold water. Which was only 4 and a half feet deep. And I broke my left foot. Yeah, I’m ready summer to be over too. (grin)
